                  Mr. Xiaodong YUAN was born on May 12, 1971, in China. 
In 1988, he  graduated from a  high school and  enrolled into the Department of Applied Physics, Tsinghua University in  Beijing, China, where he received his Bachelor of Since degree and graduated in  July, 1993.   
                  From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Xiaodong YUAN worked and studied in China  before he came to the U.S.  in 1997 and lived in Washington Sate while his wife, Yan  YU, studied as a Ph.D. student there.  Mr.  Yuan’s family moved to Georgia in 1999  and worked as a software engineer in Atlanta, Georgia.  Before the accident, Mr. Yuan served as a  staff member at metro-Atlanta-based Encompass Group. 
                  After arriving Atlanta,  Mr. YUAN became a member of the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Georgia (TAAG)  and served as a member of Board of Director of TAAG since 2001.  Later, Mr. YUAN served as the vice president  of TAAG in the term of 2003-2004, and served as the president of TAAG during  the term of 2004-2005.  
                  Mr. Yuan left his wife, Ms. Yan YU, and two sons, 2-year-old  Max YUAN and Marshal YUAN, who just had his 6th birthday yesterday  (September 29, 2005), when Mr. YUAN and his mother, Ms. WANG’s bodies was found  at Yosemite.  |
